SMTOWN

Not much of a fan account, but here is my two cents about my experience.

I woke up at 7:30 because too much excitement. I couldn’t go back to sleep. Oh well, I started to get my stuff “ready”. I live in San Diego, which is a 2 hour drive from Anaheim. I was hoping to leave at noon to make it to the fan meetup, but a lot of things happened in between I ended up leaving at 2:15. I was on my way and realized I forgot something. So I go back home. I ended up leaving for reals at 2:40.

So we got the area at around 5. My boyfriend and I were so hungry because we only had breakfast, so we went to Chili’s, and we saw a some fans in there. One of them had a sign for Sooyoung. So we ate, went to find parking, and slept on the car because we were driving back after the concert. Surprisingly we saw a lot of fanboys.

The Honda Center

The line to get into the venue was a complete mess. There were lines everywhere. Some of them ended up not even being lines. So there was this little sign out there a 8x10 paper that said that no cameras were allowed, and saw that some girls were asked to leave their purses outside because they were too big. My bag was big I was worried. I had a pair of fast flats inside ( that’s where I hid my camera), so I was even more worried for new camera. So when we got to security, the guy that was supposed to check my bag only looked at it, grabbed it from the bottom, and said ok. He didn’t even asked me to open it!. WTF. So we were inside, and the first thing we saw a ginormous line for the girls bathroom lol. We went to our seats, which were really nice. I was in sec 409, row A. We had a full view of everything :D

The Show

So they turned off the lights and the SM ocean was beautiful, almost everyone had light sticks. I was in awe. SHINee opened the show with lucifer, then I think a rock version of amigo, and then Juliette. I honestly didn’t like their rock versions, they also did RDD later but omg shinee are dorks, and them shaking their heads like badasses just doesn’t fit them.  Taemin is so skinny! even skinnier than what the looks in videos. Onew looked so tired like almost half asleep. Key is just key, and Minho is so handsome and Jjong is pure muscles! So Suju followed, and Siwon was not there. After this I can’t remember the exact order and exact songs, I was just too busy fangirling.

I was dissapointed that exo only sang MAMA and History, and both were lipsynched. I think the only thing that was live was Kai’s screaming because it sounded different form their album. Kris is not as tall as he looks. Chen is such a cutie!  DBSK are gods, seriously Changmin is fiiiiiine. BoA is super cute, she was the last one out of all artist to perform. You can immediately feel a different aura when DBSK and BoA were perfoming.

Yuri and Yoona were not there. Ugh, I wanted to see my girl (Yuri). Hyoyeon was skinnier than I thought, but she was so cute, she was all smiles! Sooyoung looked stunning with her straight hair and bangs. Amber was so funny, she kept cracking up jokes, she got the most screams out of f(x).

There were some special performances. Amber, Key and Kris perfomed like a g6. Onew and Luna sang a duet, Kyuhyun and Changmin sang the way you are to a lucky fangirl, but girl you kept looking to the floor when these two hot guys were singing to your face!!!, Jessica and Krystal sang california girls, but idk, I just feel like they try to sell out their sisterhood. Tiffany, Sunny and Amber are also “California Girls” why didn’t they sing all of them together!?!

Onew condition is real! Onew was singing a duet with Luna, and he forgot his lines, he tried to poker face but completely failed. He also tripped. At some point Taemin was “singing”, but I didn’t even see a mic, Jjong dropped his mike and pick it up like a boss! During the last performance I saw Minho was looking way up, I screamed his name and turned my way I waved and…. he waved at me! *dies inside.

I couldn’t take fancams because the security lady that was in my section was a mega bitch! I remember there were two girls seating behind me and I was about to take out my camera to start to take pictures and the girl who was seating next to me warned that the lady was coming. So I put it down, and she asked the girls behind me to leave!, also saw her deleting photos from some cameras :( I did take a couple of pictures. If you want to see them ask, some of them turned ok considering that I was 5000 feet away form the stage.

Afterwards we went straight to the car, we both had to work today in the morning, so we couldn’t do any stalking. Overall the experience was good, but it would’ve been better if I could have taking a zillion fancams without worrying about being caught. Next time there is another SMtown I’m buying closer seats *starts saving.
